Miss Ruthann’s signature Jamaican fruit cake
(also known as black rum cake) is traditionally eaten around the Christmas
holidays and also used for an unforgettable wedding cake. Please do
not mistake this cake for an ordinary fruit cake. What makes this cake
special is because it is made with pureed fruits that are soaked in
Jamaican overproof rum, wine and sherry. |
